A First Timer

This is my first set of sticks. I bought them for use on an upcoming trip to mountainous El Salvador. I have tried them out locally and am certain they will work beautifully on my trip. And the fact that they fold to 15" is awesome - great for the backpack. I am in my mid-70s and not ready to give up hiking yet.

Almost but not quite...

I bought the pair in hopes that it would be lighter weight than my non-folding ones, so it would be good to take them when traveling. Alas, they are equally as heavy. I really appreciate the four accessoreis. But I found that the "boot" accessory, but it doesn't not stay fixed, and within two steps, slides around. I wonder if you could send me a new pair. I haven't yet tried the hiking and snow ones, so can't assess their quality. Overall, I would like a lighter weight to be used for traveling, i.e., another folding one. Thank you.

Easier Hiking

As I am approaching 81 and my balance is not what it used to be, hiking thru the forest with leaves and broken limbs on the ground results in a lot of unsteadiness. The poles helped a lot in maintaining my balance. I never felt as tho they would not provide support. The unfolding and refolding worked well.
