I have tried cheaper alternatives, but they are nothing compared to this, it's a decent size. I like a firm pillow as a side sleeper, and this fits the bill, but the press valve to adjust the air is also useful when the ground is not level and I need the pillow down a bit so I don't get a stiff neck. I gave it a good try on a 3 night army cadet camp and have been very impressed by the quality, size of the pillow, the support it gives and the pack size / weight. Really impressed with Trekology and looking for reasons now to add to my collection.

When deflated, the Aluft 2.0 compresses to just 5×2 inches (12.7×5cm) — smaller than a soda can. It fits easily in a backpack hip pocket, a jacket pocket, or a carry-on bag.

How does it stay on my sleeping pad and not slide off?

The Aluft 2.0 has two anti-slip features built in: rubber grip dots on the base that increase friction against your sleeping mat, and a detachable latch strap that clips directly to inflatable sleeping pads (including Trekology's UL80, UL R7, and R5 pads) to hold the pillow in place through the night.

How long does it take to inflate and deflate?

Inflation takes approximately 3–5 breaths using the proprietary click-button air valve. Deflation takes only a few seconds — simply open the valve and roll or press the air out. No pump needed.

What sleeping positions does it support?
