*EASE of USE: To inflate a sleeping mat, attach the pump bag valve to your sleeping mat's valve. Open the back to capture air and roll the top woven down couple times to push the air into the mat. Repeat for several times until your desired firmness then remove the pump sack.

Great piece of kit

Used a couple of times as pump and was great, also doubles as a dry bag so we'll worth the price

Works, does double duty as a dry bag.

It worked as described. Made filling up the sleeping pad super quick and easy. Build quality seems top notch, but I've only used it a handful of times so far. It's entirely waterproof from the tests I've made. The design is similar to a dry bag, and it's so large that it does that job well. I can fit my sleeping bag, bag liner, sleeping pad, trekology inflatable pillow, and puffy jacket easily inside it. I leave the valve open, roll it up super tight, then buckle it and close the valve. Helps compress everything a little bit more to save room in the pack. Probably going to start using it as my food back at camp too hanging it from a tree. Definitely recommend grabbing one if you have the sleeping pad.

Pump sack review

Haven't used it yet, but it looks to be made of high quality materials. Shipping cost was high though. Half the purchase price of the item I ordered.

too heavy, too stiff

The bag is made of thicker nylon and has a heavy, stiff roll-top style opening with clips. The thick nylon material is stiff and is hard to fill with air, which requires more cycles to fill up the air mattress. Given that the sleeping pad is pretty heavy, not sure why this has to be as well. It could be a much thinner material, and not have a roll-top. This would allow it to be packable as part of the sleeping mat (in the same stuff sack, taking up much less room, and weighing less. I have an Amok Hammock sleeping pad that comes with an inflator bag that follows these principles, and it is a joy to use, weighs very little, and takes up next to no space.
