Wild Camping in the Lake District UK. I went Wild Camping in the Lake District National Park at weekend and I can honestly say I had the most comfortable nights sleep I have had wild camping with the UL80. I also coupled this up with the Trekology inflatable pillow and the two products work together perfectly. Most comfortable mat yet! Packs down very small. Spent my first night on this and was hooked. So comfy compared to any other mat I've tried. Easy to inflate and deflate. Easy to attach aluft 2.0 pillow using its integrated strap and it didn't move over night. My ONLY suggestion to improve this would be to use the same valve as is used on the aluft pillows. The curved sides and depth of the sleep mat provide a super comfortable experience. I've slept on mats twice as expensive that weren't this comfortable.

What is the R-value of this sleeping pad?

This sleeping pad has an R-value of see specifications tab. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation from cold ground. Check the specifications tab for seasonal suitability.

How light and compact is it when packed?

The TREKOLOGY UL80 Ultralight Inflatable Sleeping Pad for Camping is designed for ultralight backpacking. Weight is approximately 750g. When deflated and rolled, it compresses to a small cylinder that fits inside or straps to a backpack.

How do I inflate it?

The pad can be inflated using the included pump sack (no lung power required) or by mouth using the valve. Inflation takes approximately 10–15 breaths or 3–5 pump-sack cycles. Deflation is fast — simply open the valve and roll.

How thick is it when inflated?

Can I use it year-round including winter camping?
